First at London Children's Film Festival
Rounding
First has been chosen as the sole US entry as an "official selection"
film at the London Children's Film Festival, which takes place November 18-26
in sixteen cinemas across London.
With
more than 70 titles from 25 countries, the film line up includes previews and
premieres, new world cinema, documentaries, archive titles, shorts, and films
made by young people. A panel of young jurors aged 7–14 selected the following
films as "Official Selection" films for the festival:
LCFF's
young jurors will select among these films to win the First
Light Young Jury Film Prize.
Rounding
First will be screening at Cineworld at Shaftesbury Ave, on Sat 18 Nov, 10am and
again at the Tricycle Cinema, on Sat 25 Nov, 4pm.
The London Children's Film Festival
is based at the Barbican Centre – the largest arts centre in Europe. It reaches
out to the capital's diverse communities at fifteen further venues across the
city. The festival travels into schools and community centres, and works with
other UK children's film festivals including Showcomotion
in Sheffield.
