During the course of the film, we met many cool people who went above and beyond the call of duty to make RF happen. One of those groups of people were the Classy Cruisers Club, a wonderful gang of friends who had incredible pre-1980 cars that worked perfectly for our story. They showed up to our set day after day, waiting patiently for the times when we needed their autos in just the right spot at the right time. Bravo!
As a special tribute, I want CCC members who had their car in the film to post a photo of their car in this thread and then tell us what scenes in RF where you can see your car!
Don't be shy about showing us your baby in its best light... _________________ Jim Fleigner

My car was used in the shot in Allentown where the boys went up to the door and rang the doorbell and then ran off behind my car and hid.
I believe you can also catch a quick glimpse of my car in the lot of the ball stadium.
Thanks Jim for giving this opportunity to be a part of the movie. It gives a different perspective of what goes on behind the scenes when a film is being made.

I LOVED this car in the film, although I remember all too well how it POURED rain the night we shot the scene of the boys hiding behind it.
It was perfect for the scene - just the kind of car I imagined would be parked in that neighborhood.
C'mon CCC members! Let's see the rest of 'em! And don't worry if you can't post your car's photo. Just include a link to where the photo is and I'll post it for you. _________________ Jim Fleigner

What a cool story, and I LOVE your car, Bauer_1980 Malibu !!!
Thanks for coming on board this forum , I'm always thrilled when people who were involved in the filming of Rounding First make their appearance here !
Do get all your friends and members of the Classy Cruisers Club to showcase their cars here .
I wonder who that is driving that great car which Tiger is trying to hitch a ride from in the picture I've used for this forum ....

That is an excellent question.
I, for one, have absolutely no idea.
Perhaps he will make an appearance on the boards and introduce himself... _________________ Jim Fleigner

My car was in the scene shot at Yocco's where the producer had gutted the store and installed video games and pin ball machines. Also at the general store on 19th street where the kids had purchased beer. Great job, Jim.

Woo hooo! That is one cool hot rod!!
I saw from your photos that it can also be turned into a convertible. I can't remember - was the top up at Yoccos and Hersh's Market?
Excellent photos from CCC! Keep 'em coming!! _________________ Jim Fleigner

Daniel,
Mine is a 1980 Chevy Malibu Classic. My Dad who has the Olds 442 here on the board bought the car brand new in 1980 had it for a while and then sold it, years later bought it back from the person that he sold it to and then ever since I have had it.
Thanks for inquiring.
