One of the highlights of the 2008
Lower Milford Township Fire Company Carnival is the Charity Auction that
will be held is the Silent Auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Lower Milford
Township Fire Company's all-volunteer fire and ambulance services, run by about
35 active volunteer men and women. Director
Jim Fleigner has donated some really great pieces of memorabilia from Rounding
First, including screen used wardrobe signed by young actors Soren Fulton, Sam
Semenza and Matt Borish. If you have yet to
obtain a really great piece of memorabilia from Rounding First, now is your time
to get something authentic and great, and all for a good cause too ! As
many Rounding First fans ma live very far from Lower Milford Township, the organisers
from Lower Milford Fire Company have very kindly arranged for absentee bids to
be placed online via email. Online bids will be accepted until 11 p.m. EST Friday,
June 27, 2008. This is a silent auction. Generally,
that means a person would have to top the last, highest bid by the end of the
auction. Bid increments are in whole dollars, not cents. With absentee bidding,
the highest received absentee bid will be used as a minimum for other onsite bidders.
So, if an absentee bidder bids $50, his becomes the minimum bid to start the auction.
If someone present bids $51, that person wins. However, if the $50 is not topped,
the $50 bidder is the winner. To place your
absentee bids, check out the items listed below, click on the BID button to send
your email, stating CLEARLY your bid amount in US dollars, full name, address
and PHONE NUMBERS to be contacted in the event of a win or clarification on
their bid. If you are unable to collect the
items you have won by auction end, shipping can be arranged at US$5 for shipping
within the USA. International shipping will be charged at cost.
